COVID-19: A message to our customers from Bleiker’s MD Charlie Andrew

With so much uncertainty and change in every aspect of our lives at the moment, we want to keep our customers informed about how Bleiker’s is addressing the challenges of the COVID-19 outbreak. We understand that it’s a small part of an enormous picture, but hopefully we can reassure you about the processes we have in place to deliver our high-quality products safely. 

Our current focus is helping to feed the nation and to ensure that we follow the latest Government guidance in how we operate our business.  We also are working to ensure all our employees are kept safe and protected during this challenging time. This week we have expanded the size of our production facility in order to give everyone even more space so that it’s easier for colleagues to keep to the recommended distance apart while at work.

We’re working really hard to get our smoked salmon onto the shelves as quickly as we can, but we have also brought forward the launch of our new online shop so that customers can stock up from home. Check out https://libertysmokehouse.com/shop/ for more information.

We have regular updates with our suppliers to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing and supply chain processes, to ensure that our products continue to be of the high quality that you would  expect from Bleiker’s. 

Importantly I want you to know that we are following all advice from Public Health England, The Food Standards Agency and our Primary Authority (Hambleton District Council)
